Our History:
The Mamoncito Cooperative, Inc., was founded on April 2, 1978. The formation of this Institution began because at that time the production of cassava and other agricultural products faced problems to be sold and placed on the market. Therefore, it was decided to visit IDECOOP to request help and obtain an export license to sell these products outside the country.

As of June 1990, through the Rural Financial Services program of the Central Bank and the International Development Agency AID, it relaunched its operations in the city of Monción with a total of 50 members and an initial loan of RD$70,000.00.

Since then, this company has experienced sustained growth, contributing to the development of the different commercial and productive sectors of our region and to the improvement of the standard of living of our associates.
